Reasonable people: systems of oppression effect everything we do and colors the interactions people have at the interpersonal level. Nothing exists in a bubble separate from institutional oppression and different spheres of our lives can be examined and understood with this in mind.

It just sounds so ridiculous that they can think everything can be effected by the pathriachy and racism and homophobia but as soon as you want to talk about those things and sex, it’s off the table , too personal, ignoring how those things and the intersection of sex is important to understand oppression but alas if you say any of that, you’re a puritanical freak who wants to make everyone boring vanilla people.
